VendEngine Acquires Sherrod Computers

VendEngine, a Nashville-based cloud FinTech provider for the corrections industry, has acquired Murfreesboro software development firm Sherrod Computers. The cash transaction expands VendEngine's software development capabilities and adds Sherrod's client book across corrections, fintech, healthcare and logistics; Sherrod's founder Chris Sherrod joins VendEngine as CIO. Terms were not disclosed.
