Harbour Group, a privately owned operations-focused investment company based in St. Louis, acquired Americo Chemical Products, a specialty chemical manufacturer headquartered in Elgin, Illinois. The founder Chris Bozin will remain as CEO; Harbour Group said the acquisition will help Americo scale in its existing markets while expanding its product offering and end‑market applications.

Chroma Color Corporation Acquires Ferco Color

Chroma Color Corporation, a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, has acquired Ferco Color, a custom manufacturer of colorants, additives, and specialty compounds based in Chino, California. The undisclosed-term transaction expands Chroma's West Coast manufacturing footprint and broadens its colorant and additive technology capabilities, leveraging Ferco's on-site analytical laboratory and customer base across medical, packaging, aerospace and other end markets.

Fibrix Filtration (backed by Branford Castle) Acquires Americo Manufacturing; Forms Clean Solutions Group

Fibrix Filtration, a portfolio company of Branford Castle Partners, has acquired Americo Manufacturing Co. from Blue Sage Capital and the founding Rones family and combined the two businesses under a new holding company, Clean Solutions Group. Brookside Capital Partners (subordinated debt and equity) and Byline Bank provided financing to support the transaction; Americo is a Georgia-based manufacturer of sustainable nonwoven floor pads, hand pads and matting.

NewMarket Corporation (NYSE: NEU) completed the acquisition of AMPAC Intermediate Holdings, LLC, the parent of American Pacific Corporation (AMPAC), for approximately $700 million in cash. AMPAC, based in Cedar City, Utah, is a specialty manufacturer of critical performance additives for solid rocket motors and Halotron fire‑suppression agents and has roughly 150 employees; the seller was affiliates of private equity firm AE Industrial Partners.
