Asset Living Acquires Arizona-Based Shelton Residential

Houston-based property manager Asset Living has acquired Shelton Residential, an Arizona-based property management firm that oversees more than 17,000 multifamily units across Arizona, Texas, Colorado and New Mexico. The deal expands Asset Living's presence in the Southwestern U.S.; owners Tom and Pam Shelton and the Shelton team will join Asset Living to lead the company's Southwest region.

Smoky Mountain Family Farms Acquires Triple C Family Farms

Smoky Mountain Family Farms (SMFF), a family-run tomato farming and distribution operation based in Newport, Tennessee, has acquired Triple C Family Farms (Chandley Farms, LLC) of Midway, Tennessee to expand production and regional reach. The purchase triples SMFF's production heading into the 2021 season and supports the company's strategy to serve multiple U.S. regions while extending its fair labor programs into Tennessee.

Martori Farms Acquires SOL Group from Fyffes

Martori Farms has acquired the SOL Group, Fyffes' melon growing and distribution business, creating the world's largest year‑round melon producer with farms in Honduras and Guatemala and a distribution operation in Miami. The deal enables Martori to offer continuous melon supply across North America while allowing Fyffes to concentrate on its core banana and pineapple businesses.

Lipari Foods Acquires Swiss-American, Inc.

Lipari Foods, a Warren, Michigan-based specialty food distributor, has acquired St. Louis-based Swiss-American, Inc., a specialty cheese solutions provider focused on retail deli. The acquisition will fold Swiss-American into Lipari's manufacturing division via its subsidiary The Deli Source to expand cheese offerings and capabilities; Swiss-American will continue to be led by Joe Hoff and has approximately 85 employees.
