Adams Outdoor Advertising has acquired Riley (Patriot) Outdoor, adding 201 billboard faces and 7 digital displays across 12 counties in eastern North Carolina and establishing a new Triad market covering Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point. Riley Outdoor, founded in 2005 by Robert Moore, expands Adams' out-of-home footprint and strengthens its local advertising inventory in the Piedmont Triad region.

Adams Outdoor Advertising acquired Chesapeake Outdoor, adding 181 static billboard faces and expanding its footprint in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach market and into the Salisbury–Ocean City, MD DMA. The acquisition strengthens Adams' regional presence on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and Maryland and will be integrated under Adams' Norfolk operations.

Link Media Outdoor, a wholly owned subsidiary of Boston Omaha Corporation, purchased the outdoor advertising assets of Thomas Outdoor Advertising, Inc., acquiring 368 billboard faces located in Manhattan and central Kansas. The acquired inventory will be managed from Link's Kansas City office and expands Link's existing Kansas footprint; the sellers included Thomas Outdoor Advertising and family owners Bart Thomas, Layton Thomas and Jim Wells.
