Macquarie Asset Management (via several MAM-managed funds) has completed a previously announced significant minority investment in D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI), intended to support DESRI's continued growth across utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage in the United States. The investment vehicle(s) include Macquarie Global Infrastructure Fund (MGIF), Macquarie Green Energy and Climate Opportunities Fund (MGECO) and Macquarie Energy Transition Infrastructure Fund International (METI), and the total commitment is up to approximately $1.725 billion.
