Simplicity Group Holdings has acquired DuVall Financial Group, a brokerage general agency that supports independent insurance agents with insurance, marketing and retirement planning solutions. DuVall will rebrand to "Simplicity DFG" and its leadership team (Gaines DuVall, Paul Hazard, and JP Penzkover) will join as Simplicity Partners to help expand agent offerings and distribution.

Keesler Federal Credit Union will merge with Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union, with Keesler as the surviving institution effective July 1, 2025. The deal adds more than $700 million in assets, 14 Greater New Orleans branches, roughly 45,000 members, and more than 145 Jefferson Financial employees to Keesler, expanding the combined credit union's Gulf South footprint and branch network.

FFG will transition to the Simplicity Houston brand and its principals, Terry Feuchtinger and Reid Juul, join Simplicity as Principal Partners, expanding Simplicity's national insurance distribution platform and advisor-facing capabilities.
