Broadcom Acquires Symantec Enterprise Security Business

KKR Acquires Omnissa from Broadcom

Omnissa — headquartered in Palo Alto with roughly $1.5 billion ARR, 26,000 customers and 4,000 employees — will receive growth investment from KKR to expand its AI, API and product capabilities for the digital workspace market.

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice Acquires Epicor Software Corporation from KKR

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) has acquired Epicor Software Corporation from KKR in a transaction valued at $4.7 billion. Epicor, a global provider of industry-specific ERP and cloud-enabled software serving more than 20,000 customers across manufacturing, distribution, and retail, will be led by a board chaired by CD&R Operating Partner Jeff Hawn as the firm pursues product investment and strategic acquisitions to accelerate growth.

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice and KKR Acquire Cloudera for $5.3 Billion

Cloudera entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by affiliates of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) and KKR in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $5.3 billion, expected to close in the second half of 2021. The deal will take Cloudera private and provide $16.00 per share to shareholders, with Cloudera continuing to be led by CEO Rob Bearden.

KKR Acquires Barracuda Networks from Thoma Bravo
