KKR will acquire up to a 54% controlling stake in Healthcare Global Enterprises (HCG), India’s largest oncology hospital chain, from CVC Asia V through definitive agreements. Following the transaction and an SEBI-mandated open offer, KKR is expected to hold between 54% and 77% equity, with Dr. BS Ajai Kumar remaining as non-executive chairman.
