Process Insights (Union Park Capital) Acquires Schneider Electric's Process Analyzers Business

Process Insights, a portfolio company of Union Park Capital, acquired the assets of the Process Analyzers business from Schneider Electric. The deal transfers Schneider's FTIR/FT-NIR analyzers and process mass spectrometer technology (ANALECT and MGA product lines) to Process Insights to expand its online and laboratory analytical instrumentation portfolio and capabilities.

Nanalysis Scientific Acquires K'(Prime) Technologies Inc.

Nanalysis Scientific Corp. has entered into a binding agreement to acquire 100% of K'(Prime) Technologies Inc., a North American sales and service company focused on scientific instrumentation and security imaging systems. The transaction consideration includes C$3 million in cash, 2.76 million Nanalysis shares (two-year lock-up) and up to C$1 million in earn-outs; closing was expected by Dec 31, 2021.

Union Park Capital announced that its KPM Analytics platform has acquired Sightline Process Control, a Canada-based provider of 3D color vision and automated inspection systems for the food industry. Sightline will continue to operate from its Ottawa headquarters and join KPM Analytics' portfolio to expand the platform's food inspection and analytics capabilities; terms were not disclosed.
