St. Louis-based private investment firm Broadview Group announced an investment in Citadel EHS, a Glendale, California–based environmental, health, safety, and sustainability (EHS&S) consulting firm. Citadel’s existing leadership will remain in place and the partnership is intended to provide capital and resources to accelerate growth, broaden capabilities, and support geographic expansion; Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory served as exclusive financial advisor to Citadel.

Superior Environmental Solutions Acquires American Remediation & Environmental, Inc.

Superior Environmental Solutions (SES), a Palladium Equity Partners-backed environmental and industrial services platform, has acquired American Remediation & Environmental, Inc. (American Environmental), a Mobile, Alabama-based provider of tank maintenance, remediation and robotic tank cleaning. The add-on expands SES's footprint into Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana, adds technical tank-cleaning capabilities, and brings approximately 180 employees to SES's network of 44+ facilities.

Stantec Acquires Environmental Systems Design, Inc.

The deal—terms undisclosed and expected to close June 30, 2023—deepens Stantec's mission-critical/data center capabilities and expands its U.S. MEP and structural engineering practice by roughly 40%.

Trinity Consultants Acquires Meridian Consultants
