The Vet operates eight large clinics across the UK and offers app-based telehealth and other accessible pet health services; the sale represents Bridges' exit after creating and scaling the business since 2013.

VetCor Acquires People, Pets & Vets

VetCor, a PE-backed operator of veterinary practices (portfolio company of funds managed by Harvest Partners and Cressey & Company), has acquired People, Pets & Vets (PPV), a veterinarian-led network of more than 150 animal hospitals across the western and southern United States. The deal expands VetCor's national footprint and combines two multi-location veterinary operators to broaden clinical resources, support services and career opportunities for veterinary teams.

Medivet Acquires Torquay-based Animal Health Centre

The clinic's team of 4 vets and 6 nurses join Medivet as part of the company's push to grow its UK footprint by 50% toward a network of over 600 practices.

Affiliates of OMERS Private Equity have acquired CVP Holdco, Inc., d/b/a Community Veterinary Partners, from Cortec Group Fund V. Terms were not disclosed. CVP, headquartered in Philadelphia, operates a network of 64 veterinary hospitals across multiple U.S. states and will continue growth under OMERS ownership.
