Fabian Couture Group Acquires Uncommon Chef

Fabian Couture Group (FCG), a Valesco Industries portfolio company backed by Riveria Investment Group, has acquired Uncommon Chef, a designer and manufacturer of chef and foodservice apparel. Brookside Capital Partners provided subordinated debt and a minority equity co-investment to support the add-on acquisition, which expands FCG’s Uniform and Career Apparel segment.

Quiltcraft Industries Acquires Fabtex Inc. After Willistown Capital Recapitalization

Quiltcraft Industries, newly recapitalized by Houston-based private equity firm Willistown Capital, has acquired competitor Fabtex Inc. The deal creates a larger hospitality-focused textiles platform with expanded geographic reach, manufacturing and sourcing capabilities, and a combined workforce of more than 300 employees across the United States and Mexico.

Affiliates of Versa Capital Management have acquired Alex Apparel Group, a designer and wholesaler of women's eveningwear (brands include Alex Evenings, SL Fashions and Ignite Evenings), from Atlantic Street Capital. Alex Apparel's products are sold online and in over 3,400 retail locations; Versa said it will partner with management to accelerate growth through greater direct customer engagement, channel diversification and potential strategic acquisitions.

Cintas Corporation Acquires Paris Uniform Services

CPC Acquires Paramount Apparel International

Paramount, founded in 1929 and known for its Imperial headwear brand and Global Brand Solutions division, employs over 500 people across six Missouri facilities; the founding families retained ownership at the Paramount level and received an ownership interest in CPC.

VF Corporation Acquires Supreme

VF Corporation has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the privately owned streetwear brand Supreme in an all-cash deal valuing the brand at about $2.1 billion. Current investors The Carlyle Group and Goode Partners are selling their stakes; Supreme's founder James Jebbia and senior leadership will remain with the company, headquartered in New York City.
