IDEX Corporation Acquires Muon Group from Rivean Capital for €700 Million

IDEX Corporation has acquired Muon B.V. and its subsidiaries (Muon Group) from private equity owner Rivean Capital for an enterprise value of €700 million. The Netherlands-based Muon Group, a micro-precision components manufacturer with ~580 employees and ~€140 million of 2022 sales, will join IDEX's Health & Science Technologies segment to expand IDEX's precision-technology capabilities and accelerate product development and customer relationships.

Andra Tech Group (Equistone-backed) Acquires Lucassen Groep

Andra Tech Group, a portfolio company backed by funds advised by Equistone Partners Europe, has acquired Netherlands-based Lucassen Groep, a specialist in high-precision manufacturing and cleanroom assembly. The add-on strengthens Andra Tech Group’s position in its home market of the Netherlands and expands its technological capabilities serving semiconductor, analytical and optics end markets; selling shareholder Daniël Gulikers will remain as managing director.

QED Technologies Acquires Dutch United Instruments (Nanomefos)

QED Technologies International has acquired Dutch United Instruments (DUI), the developer of the Nanomefos metrology platform, from Demcon. The deal adds non-contact, nanometer-accurate metrology for freeform and aspheric optics to QED's portfolio, establishes a European HQ in the Netherlands, and expands QED's capabilities across semiconductor, aerospace, defense and research markets.

Lantheus Acquires Life Molecular Imaging from Life Healthcare

Lantheus Holdings, Inc. completed the acquisition of Life Molecular Imaging Ltd., a subsidiary of Life Healthcare Group Holdings Ltd., gaining the Neuraceq (florbetaben F18) commercial product, expanded Alzheimer’s radiodiagnostic infrastructure, and additional R&D capabilities. As part of the transaction, Dr. Ludger Dinkelborg (formerly CEO of Life Molecular) will join Lantheus as Head of Research & Development, reporting to the CEO.

Hahn & Co. Acquires SKC's Fine Ceramics Business (Solmics)

Hahn & Co. has acquired 100% of SKC's fine ceramics business for 360 billion won (about $270 million). The acquired business, renamed Solmics, produces high‑purity quartz and silicon‑carbide consumables for advanced semiconductor manufacturing and will operate under Hahn & Co.'s ownership to expand its position in the global semiconductor materials market.

CML Microsystems Acquires MicroWave Technology, Inc.

CML Microsystems Plc has completed the acquisition of MicroWave Technology, Inc. (MwT), a Silicon Valley–based compound semiconductor manufacturer founded in 1982 that specializes in GaAs and GaN MMICs, discrete devices and hybrid amplifier products. The deal expands CML Micro's product portfolio, strengthens its mmWave and high-frequency R&D capabilities, and aims to accelerate global market reach for MwT's products via CML's sales and distribution network.
