Norvestor IX has signed an agreement to acquire Serwent Holding AS, a market-leading underground infrastructure maintenance specialist headquartered in Oslo, Norway. The private equity firm will become Serwent’s largest shareholder alongside management and key employees; the deal is expected to close in Q3 2024 and supports Norvestor’s plan to consolidate and expand Serwent’s presence across Northern Europe.

Rentokil Initial plc Completes Acquisition of Terminix; Terminix's U.K. and Norway Businesses Divested to Norvestor

Rentokil Initial plc completed its acquisition of Terminix Global Holdings, Inc., creating the world’s leading pest control company with approximately 4.9 million customers and ~57,700 employees combined. As part of regulatory/closing steps, Terminix divested its U.K. and Norway pest-management businesses to Norvestor (a Nordic private equity fund) prior to closing; those divested businesses generated ~ $60 million of expected 2022 revenue.

Norvestor Acquires Majority Stake in BST Group from IK Partners

Norvestor VIII has agreed to acquire a majority stake in BST Group Nordic AB from IK Partners' Small Cap II Fund; financial terms were not disclosed. BST, a Stockholm-based full-service active fire protection provider with ~430 employees and pro forma revenues of about SEK 900 million, will see Norvestor become the largest shareholder while management and key employees remain invested.

Norvestor Acquires Pelias and Terminix UK from Terminix to Form Northern European Pest Control Group

Norvestor VIII has signed an agreement to acquire Pelias Norsk Skadedyrkontroll AS and Terminix UK Limited from Terminix Global Holdings, Inc. The assets are being divested as a condition of Terminix’s pending merger with Rentokil Initial plc; Norvestor will become the largest shareholder in the new Northern European pest control group alongside co-investor Svein Olav Stølen, management and key employees. Pelias is headquartered in Elverum, Norway (c. NOK 240m revenue and ~210 employees in 2021) and Terminix UK is headquartered in Gloucester, England (c. GBP 19m revenue and ~370 employees in 2021); the deal is expected to close in June 2022.
