Cianbro, a 100% employee-owned construction and construction services company headquartered in Pittsfield, Maine, has acquired R. C. Stevens Construction Co., a Winter Garden, Florida-based construction firm founded in 1926. The acquisition, which closed April 1, 2022, expands Cianbro’s permanent presence in the southeastern United States and is intended to support R. C. Stevens’ growth while preserving its leadership and team under an employee-ownership structure.

Westbridge Capital Acquires Berg Industrial Service, Inc.

Westbridge Capital Ltd. has completed the acquisition of Berg Industrial Service, Inc., a 50-year-old, second-generation family business headquartered in Ontario that designs, installs and services industrial chilling systems and operates an associated engineering and fabrication business. The transaction includes a 10% equity participation by the Westbridge Capital Partners Income Trust. Management continuity was announced with Mark Edwards continuing as CEO, Rebecca Carothers joining as COO, and Michael Turner joining the board.

BuildTec Software Group Acquires SORBA EDV AG

BuildTec Software Group, a European construction-software platform backed by funds advised by BU Bregal Unternehmerkapital (and supported by VIA Equity), has acquired SORBA EDV AG, a St. Gallen–based provider of modular construction ERP software. The deal adds SORBA’s roughly 80+ employees and more than 2,500 Swiss construction customers to the BuildTec platform and is intended to accelerate growth and cross-border expansion in Switzerland and the wider DACH region.

HB Capital Acquires Structural Building Components LLC

CRC Group Acquires SLB Insurance Group
