FAYAT Group has acquired full ownership of the Mecalac Group, a manufacturer of compact construction equipment for urban jobsites. Mecalac will join FAYAT’s Road Equipment Division, operating autonomously while broadening the division’s compact and electric equipment capabilities across its production footprint in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

ADM Acquires Fuerst Day Lawson (FDL) from Highlander Partners

ADM (Archer-Daniels-Midland Company) agreed to acquire and has completed the purchase of Fuerst Day Lawson Limited (FDL), a London-based developer and manufacturer of flavor and functional ingredient systems, from Highlander Partners. FDL, founded in 1884, operates three UK production facilities, has ~235 employees and projected 2023 sales of about $120 million; ADM said the deal expands its global flavors capabilities and strengthens its presence in European foodservice and other food & beverage end markets.
