LongWater Opportunities, a Dallas- and Fargo-based private equity firm, has acquired Thermotec Glass, a Georgetown, Texas-based fabricator of custom insulated and interior glass products. The deal is the first add-on to Glass Fab Holdings and LongWater portfolio company M3 Glass Technologies and is intended to expand product capabilities and grow wallet share with glaziers and installers across Central and South Texas; the seller was Thermotec's founder, Luis Najarro.

Fenzi Group Acquires Thermoseal to Expand Insulated-Glass Spacer Range

Milan-based Fenzi Group SpA has acquired Thermoseal (Thermoseal Group Limited), a UK-based supplier of insulated glass (IG) spacers and components. The acquisition adds Thermoseal’s Thermoflex flexible spacer and Thermobar product lines to Fenzi’s portfolio, supporting product capability expansion and international sales growth.

Third Arch Investments Acquires FiberGlass Coatings; Tecum and NewSpring Provide Financing

Third Arch Investments has acquired FiberGlass Coatings, a Florida-based manufacturer and distributor of epoxy, resin and fiberglass products. The transaction is financed with support from Tecum Capital, NewSpring (NewSpring Mezzanine) and a rollover by FiberGlass Coatings management; proceeds will be used to expand production capacity and grow the company's direct-to-consumer channels.

SSW Advanced Technologies Acquires Schott-Gemtron Corporation

Newtex Industries Acquires Thermostatic Industries, Inc.

Newtex Industries has completed its acquisition of Thermostatic Industries, Inc., a California-based distributor of high-temperature fabrics and fabricated insulation. The deal adds West Coast distribution for Newtex, expands its advanced high-temperature fabrics portfolio (including distribution rights to 3M Nextel ceramic fabrics), and relocates Thermostatic operations to a modern facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Thermex-Thermatron Systems Acquires JTE Machines

Thermex-Thermatron Systems has acquired Jacksonville, Florida-based JTE Machines to strengthen its position in radio frequency (RF) and microwave (MW) industrial equipment. The acquisition brings JTE's engineering, automation and sealing-machine capabilities and several members of the JTE team (including founders Jens and Traci Evling) into Thermex to expand product and service offerings across fabric, belting and medical-product markets.
