Prosit Acquires Cantina di Montalcino

Prosit S.p.A., the Made in Italy Fund portfolio company, has acquired 100% of Cantina di Montalcino S.r.l. from Cantine Leonardo da Vinci Società Cooperativa Agricola. The deal adds a historic Brunello-producing cooperative to Prosit's hub of premium Italian wineries and is intended to accelerate export development and international consolidation of the group's wine portfolio.

Monroe Capital provided the senior credit facility and an equity co-investment to support the acquisition; Natale Caputo will continue to lead the company as Tilia looks to scale Caputo's manufacturing and national distribution capabilities.
