Zscaler Acquires ShiftRight

Zscaler, Inc. completed the acquisition of ShiftRight, a startup specializing in closed-loop security workflow automation, and is integrating ShiftRight's technology into the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform. The deal (closed in Zscaler's fiscal Q4 ended July 31, 2022) will automate security management, reduce incident resolution time and provide greater visibility into customers' security posture; terms were not disclosed.

Rightpoint Acquires Bowfin to Expand Salesforce Capabilities

Rightpoint has acquired Bowfin, a full-service Salesforce and development consultancy, to strengthen its Salesforce practice and deliver expanded CRM and digital transformation services. Bowfin's team — including co-founders John Hergert and Nik Njegovan — will join Rightpoint's Salesforce practice in Chicago to enhance capabilities across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Einstein and related services.

Net Health Acquires PointRight

Net Health, a Pittsburgh-based provider of EHR software for specialty medical providers, has acquired PointRight Inc., a provider of post-acute healthcare analytics and data-driven tools. The deal expands Net Health’s analytics capabilities and post-acute / skilled nursing facility (SNF) presence, enabling better SNF network management and outcomes measurement for hospitals, ACOs and payers.

Scaleworks Acquires SearchSpring

Scaleworks, a San Antonio-based venture equity firm, has acquired SearchSpring, an 11-year-old provider of AI/ML-powered e-commerce site search and merchandising solutions. SearchSpring founder and CEO Gareth Dismore will depart and Scaleworks has named retail-technology veteran Peter Messana as CEO to accelerate product and go-to-market expansion for SMB and direct-to-consumer retailers.

Searchspring Acquires Intelligent Reach

Searchspring, a global ecommerce search and personalization platform, has acquired Intelligent Reach, a UK-headquartered product data feed management software provider. The acquisition adds Intelligent Reach's data syndication, product data optimization, and PIM-like capabilities to Searchspring's on-site search, merchandising, and personalization suite, enhancing merchants' on- and off-site product discovery and conversion optimization.

Constant Contact Acquires SharpSpring

Constant Contact, backed by Clearlake Capital and Siris Capital, agreed to acquire SharpSpring in an all-cash transaction valued at about $240 million (approximately $17.10 per share), with the deal announced June 22, 2021 and closed September 1, 2021. The acquisition integrates SharpSpring's marketing automation and lead management capabilities into Constant Contact's SMB-focused digital marketing platform to expand CRM and automation offerings and cross-sell across Constant Contact's customer base.
