Constant Contact Acquires SharpSpring

Constant Contact, backed by Clearlake Capital and Siris Capital, agreed to acquire SharpSpring in an all-cash transaction valued at about $240 million (approximately $17.10 per share), with the deal announced June 22, 2021 and closed September 1, 2021. The acquisition integrates SharpSpring's marketing automation and lead management capabilities into Constant Contact's SMB-focused digital marketing platform to expand CRM and automation offerings and cross-sell across Constant Contact's customer base.
