L3Harris Acquires Viasat Link 16 Tactical Data Link (TDL) Product Line for $1.96 Billion

L3Harris announced it will acquire Viasat’s Link 16 Tactical Data Link (TDL) product line from Viasat’s Government Systems segment for $1.96 billion. The deal covers Link 16 MIDS platforms and associated terminals used on more than 20,000 U.S. and allied platforms worldwide, along with Link 16 space assets and related next-generation terminals and radios.
