Anaplan Acquires Fluence Technologies

Anaplan has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Fluence Technologies, a Toronto-based provider of cloud-native financial close, consolidation, disclosure management and Excel reporting software. The acquisition (expected to close in early May) will integrate Fluence’s consolidation and disclosure capabilities into Anaplan’s connected planning platform to strengthen CFO-focused functionality and reduce system and process complexity. Integration will be led by Anaplan’s product leaders alongside Fluence product leadership.

Softline Acquires Aplana Group's Software Development Outsourcing Business

Softline Holding has acquired the software development outsourcing business of the Aplana Group. Approximately 200 employees from three Russian development centers (Moscow, Voronezh and Ufa) will join Softline as the Aplana Group retains the Aplana brand and focuses on its product and R&D strategy.

Planview Acquires Plutora

The deal integrates Plutora's release, test environment, and deployment planning capabilities into Planview's Strategic Portfolio Management and Digital Product Development platform to provide customers end-to-end visibility across the software development lifecycle.

Thoma Bravo Acquires Anaplan

Thoma Bravo, a leading private equity firm, completed an all-cash acquisition of Anaplan, Inc. for approximately $10.4 billion ($63.75 per share), taking the cloud-native planning software company private. As part of the transaction Anaplan CEO Frank Calderoni stepped down and Charles Goodman was appointed interim CEO; Thoma Bravo said it will invest to accelerate Anaplan's growth and product strategy.

Concentra Analytics Acquires Dynaplan

Concentra Analytics Ltd (creator of orgvue) has acquired Dynaplan, a Swiss‑Norwegian provider of strategic workforce‑planning software and services. The deal integrates Dynaplan’s driver‑based simulation capabilities with orgvue’s organisational modelling to deliver end‑to‑end workforce planning and accelerate Concentra’s product roadmap.

SAP Acquires Majority Stake in Taulia

SAP SE agreed to acquire a controlling majority stake in Taulia, a San Francisco–based provider of working capital management and supply chain finance solutions. Taulia will operate as an independent company within the SAP Group with Cédric Bru remaining CEO, while strategic banking partners including J.P. Morgan will continue to participate on the platform; financial terms were not disclosed.
