Northway Aviation LP, a Westcap-backed regional aviation platform, has acquired SkyNorth Air Ltd., a dedicated air ambulance provider operating in Manitoba. The deal combines complementary fleets and teams — creating a combined fleet of 17 aircraft and expanded essential medical and charter services across remote Manitoba and parts of Ontario.

Manifest Acquires Skyroads Aviation

Manifest, a Denver-based lifestyle and travel club, has agreed to acquire Skyroads Aviation, a Part 135 certificated air carrier based at Centennial Airport outside Denver. The deal — expected to close by October 31 — will allow Manifest to operate its own private aviation services (it has also leased a Pilatus PC-12); Skyroads’ current five King Airs will not be part of the acquisition.

The transaction (advised by Seabury Securities) expands Directional Aviation/OneSky’s vertical flight capabilities and adds charter, fractional and MRO services in the Northeastern United States; reports indicate the business was sold by Sikorsky/Lockheed Martin interests.

Exchange Income Corporation (EIC) has completed its acquisition of Bradley Air Services Limited, which operates as Canadian North, for a purchase price of $205 million (subject to adjustments), with $10 million paid in common shares. The acquisition expands EIC’s northern route network and infrastructure—adding passenger, cargo and charter services across 24 Arctic communities—and excludes the Montreal–Kuujjuaq route, which remains with vendor Makivik Corporation.

Wynnchurch Capital has sold Northstar Aerospace, a Bedford Park, Illinois-based manufacturer of flight-critical and non-flight-critical aircraft parts, to GE Aerospace. Northstar produces complex components such as gears, housings, assemblies and shafts for helicopter transmission systems; Vedder Price provided legal counsel to Wynnchurch and Lincoln International and Moelis & Company served as financial advisors.
