Constellation's Harris Acquires Allscripts' Hospitals and Large Physician Practices Business

Constellation Software, through its subsidiary N. Harris Computer Corporation (Harris), agreed to acquire the net assets of Allscripts' Hospitals and Large Physician Practices business segment, including Sunrise, Paragon, TouchWorks and related solutions. The transaction, valued at up to $700 million (including contingent consideration), is a divestiture by Allscripts intended to focus its portfolio while Harris expands its healthcare software capabilities.
