Investcorp Technology Partners Acquires Avira

Investcorp Technology Partners has agreed to acquire Avira Holding GmbH & Co KG and ALV GmbH & Co KG for approximately US$180 million. The investment gives Investcorp a majority stake in the German cybersecurity software provider to support Avira’s growth across its consumer and OEM markets and accelerate product and geographic expansion.
