MyFitnessPal Acquires Intent to Add Personalized Meal Planning

MyFitnessPal has acquired Intent, a San Francisco-based personalized meal planning app, and will integrate Intent’s machine-learning meal-planning technology into its platform to offer tailored meal plans, automated grocery lists, and streamlined meal logging. The Intent co-founders and team have joined MyFitnessPal as the company prepares to launch an integrated Meal Planner feature to MyFitnessPal Premium+ members in the spring.
