FARO Technologies acquired UK-based GeoSLAM, a leader in mobile 3D scanning and SLAM software, in a transaction that closed September 1, 2022. The deal paid GeoSLAM shareholders £22.0 million cash plus 495,562 FARO shares and was funded from FARO’s cash reserves and equity consideration; GeoSLAM reported £14.5 million revenue (FY ended Mar 31, 2022) and ~18% EBITDA.
