EnTrust Global Acquires Maas Capital Shipping B.V. From ABN AMRO

EnTrust Global has completed the acquisition of Maas Capital Shipping B.V. from ABN AMRO, adding a portfolio of 15 equity joint ventures and a fleet of 76 vessels across product/chemical tanker, dry bulk, LPG, container and offshore services segments. The deal brings Maas Capital's maritime equity platform and an equity stake in an intermodal container-leasing business into EnTrust's Blue Ocean maritime finance strategy, with six members of the Maas Capital team (led by Mark Ras) joining to help manage and grow the portfolio.

Moreld Acquires Ocean Installer from HitecVision

Moreld has entered into an agreement to acquire Ocean Installer from private equity firm HitecVision. The acquisition expands Moreld's capabilities into subsea engineering and construction, adds Ocean Installer's ~280 employees and international offices, and is being financed in part by a US$225 million senior secured note offering; the deal is subject to Norwegian competition approval.

Antin Infrastructure Partners Becomes Majority Shareholder in Blue Elephant Energy AG

Antin Infrastructure Partners' Flagship Fund V will become the majority shareholder of Hamburg-based renewable energy platform Blue Elephant Energy AG to support the company's growth and international expansion. Blue Elephant Energy, which operates c.1.3 GW across 67 solar and 13 wind power plants in eight countries, will retain its founding and major shareholders while leveraging Antin's capital and infrastructure expertise to scale generation capacity.

Oil Brokerage Acquires Blue Commodities

Oil Brokerage, a subsidiary of OTC Global Holdings, has acquired rival broker Blue Commodities to strengthen its physical oil broking capabilities. The deal folds Blue Commodities into Oil Brokerage and OTC Global Holdings, with Blue Commodities CEO Jon Pike becoming COO, Physical, and the target's leadership and desk heads remaining in place to preserve client relationships across Northwest Europe, the Mediterranean and West Africa.
