Sumitomo Corporation Acquires Saconix LLC

Sumitomo Corporation, through Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, has completed the acquisition of Saconix LLC from Copperbeck Energy Partners, making Saconix a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sumitomo Corporation Group. The deal adds sulfuric acid storage tanks and transloading facilities in the U.S. West and Gulf Coast, expanding Sumitomo's North American logistics capacity and boosting its global sulfuric acid trading and storage footprint.

Atlas Holdings Acquires LSC Communications

Atlas Holdings has completed the acquisition of substantially all assets of LSC Communications through a court-supervised Section 363 sale. The deal gives Atlas control of a leading North American print and digital media solutions provider with more than 14,000 employees and an expanded manufacturing and distribution footprint across books, magazines, catalogs and office products.

Sapporo Holdings Acquires Anchor Brewing Company

Sapporo Holdings Limited will acquire all equity interest in Anchor Brewing Company from parent Anchor Brewers & Distillers, LLC for $85 million, in a deal expected to close on August 31, 2017. Sapporo said the acquisition supports its "SPEED 150" plan to expand its North American beer business and will keep brewing operations in San Francisco while leveraging Sapporo's global distribution to grow Anchor internationally.

Flexpak Acquires Katzke Packaging Co. & Packaging Converting
