Commvault has acquired Appranix, a cloud cyber-resilience provider whose Cloud Resilience Copilot automates discovery, configuration backup and rebuilds of cloud applications. The acquisition adds automated rebuild capabilities to Commvault's cyber resilience platform to reduce recovery time and improve post-attack application restoration across multi-cloud environments.

thinQ Acquires Assets of Commio, LLC

Veeam Acquires AI Cyber‑resilience Startup Alcion

Veeam Software has acquired Alcion, an AI-driven backup and cyber‑resilience startup focused on Microsoft 365 protection, and has appointed Alcion co‑founder Niraj Tolia as Veeam's CTO to lead product strategy for Veeam Data Cloud. The Alcion team (fewer than 50 employees) joins Veeam immediately; financial terms were not disclosed and existing Alcion customers will be offered a path to Veeam Data Cloud.

ColoHouse Acquires Lume Cloud

ColoHouse, a global colocation, cloud and managed services provider based in Miami, has acquired Lume Cloud, a managed cloud services provider that offers private cloud, edge data center and hybrid infrastructure solutions including the Cloud Anyware suite. The deal expands ColoHouse's private cloud, backup/recovery and security capabilities across its 24 locations and will keep Kyle Verzello as leader of the Lume Cloud product teams.

Gruve Acquires Lumos Cloud

Gruve, an AI-driven solutions provider based in Redwood City, California, has acquired Lumos Cloud, a network consulting and training firm specializing in software-defined networking (SDN) and automation. Gruve also announced a strategic partnership with Gluware to integrate intelligent network automation into its service offerings, expanding Gruve's capabilities in cloud, network automation, cybersecurity and managed services.
