Lactalis Canada to Acquire Agropur Cooperative Fine Cheese Division

Lactalis Canada Inc. has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Agropur Cooperative’s fine cheese division, including the OKA, Monsieur Gustav and L’Extra brands. The deal also includes two Quebec production facilities in Oka and Saint-Hyacinthe, as well as Agropur’s fine cheese import activities, and is expected to add about 400 employees to Lactalis Canada’s workforce.
