LI-COR Environmental Acquires Onset (HOBO Data Loggers)

LI-COR Environmental, backed by Battery Ventures, has acquired Onset, the maker of HOBO and InTemp data loggers, to broaden its environmental monitoring and sensor network capabilities. The deal brings Onset's data acquisition, sensor networks, and cloud-based monitoring technology into LI-COR's greenhouse gas measurement portfolio to support expanded applications in agriculture, coastal research, renewable energy, and cold-chain monitoring.
