steute Technologies GmbH & Co. KG has entered into a definitive merger agreement to acquire Electro-Sensors, Inc. for $7.75 in cash per share, representing about a 75% premium over the April 20, 2026 closing price. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2026, after Electro-Sensors shareholder and other customary regulatory approvals, and would make Electro-Sensors a wholly owned subsidiary.
Reliability Won, a Battery Ventures–backed asset-reliability platform, has acquired Fluid Life, a lubrication and oil-analysis provider with four laboratories across the U.S. and Canada. The deal expands Reliability Won’s capabilities into oil-condition monitoring as an add-on to its existing Knowledge pillar and will keep Fluid Life operating under its existing brand and leadership.
Signal AI, a global risk and reputation intelligence platform, announced that Battery Ventures has agreed to lead a significant growth-equity investment. Syndigo has acquired 1WorldSync to create a combined AI-first Product Experience Management (PXM) business serving brands, retailers and distributors globally. Battery Ventures has completed a take-private acquisition of Canadian field-service workflow software company TrueContext (formerly ProntoForms) for C$150 million (C$1.07 per share), resulting in TrueContext's delisting from the TSX Venture Exchange. TrueContext, headquartered in Kanata/Ottawa, provides a mobile SaaS platform for field data collection and workflow automation used by enterprise customers across healthcare, oil & gas, and industrial equipment markets; Battery intends to accelerate product development and scale the business organically and via targeted acquisitions.
Battery Ventures acquired Labguru (BioData Inc.) from Holtzbrinck Digital and will combine Labguru with its portfolio company Titian Software to create an integrated, global life-science lab- and sample-management platform.
