Lightning Resource Corp and Prospector Metals Extend Closing Timeline for Acquisition of Subco Assets

Prospector Metals Corp and Lightning Resource Corp agreed to extend both the escrow deadline and the outside date for completing their previously announced asset acquisition transaction. The transaction, under a share purchase agreement dated April 15, 2026, involves BeMetals acquiring all shares of Lightning Exploration Corp.’s (formerly Prospector Subco Ltd.) wholly owned subsidiary, Lightning Exploration Corp. (Subco), which will hold Prospector’s remaining viable non-Yukon mineral exploration projects, with key deadlines extended to August 31, 2026.
