Lionsgate and Hasbro Acquire Entertainment One (eOne) for ~$500 Million

Lionsgate will acquire the independent content platform eOne in a transaction valued at approximately $500 million, consisting of $375 million in cash plus assumed production financing loans and subject to customary closing conditions. The deal expands Lionsgate’s scripted and unscripted television footprint and its library, including rights tied to Hasbro’s Monopoly.
