Lubrication Engineers (LE) has acquired Southwestern Petroleum Lubricants (SWEPCO) from an affiliate of DalFort Capital Partners. SWEPCO, founded in 1933, manufactures specialty greases and lubricating oils for industrial and food-grade applications; the deal expands LE's in‑house calcium sulfonate grease manufacturing capabilities and global distribution footprint. LE is a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Partners.

(LE), a PE-backed developer and manufacturer of industrial lubricants, has acquired RSC Bio Solutions, a Charlotte-based maker of sustainable, biodegradable lubricants for marine and industrial customers. The deal expands LE’s sustainable product portfolio and is LE’s second acquisition since partnering with Aurora Capital Partners in September 2023.

Trecora Acquires Chemtrade's Lubricant Additives Business (Lawrence, KS)

Trecora LLC, an affiliate of private equity firm Balmoral Funds, has acquired the lubricant additives business of Chemtrade Logistics located in Lawrence, Kansas. The acquired business — a leading North American producer of phosphorus pentasulfide (P2S5) — will be integrated into Trecora's Specialty Chemicals business; financial terms were not disclosed.
