Denver-based search fund Mercator Search Group acquired Charter Impact, a California provider of outsourced accounting, payroll and back-office services for charter schools and educational nonprofits. Mercator said it plans to track operational performance more closely, introduce marketing efforts, and expand Charter Impact nationally while preserving the company’s mission-driven culture and team.
