Microchip Technology Signs Definitive Agreement to Acquire Hailo

Microchip Technology has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Hailo, a provider of accelerated edge AI processors and advanced vision processing solutions. The acquisition is intended to expand Microchip’s intelligent edge systems portfolio by adding edge AI acceleration, vision SoCs, and AI software flows, with the deal expected to close near the end of the quarter ending September 30, 2026, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
