Modern Wealth Management Acquires Flaharty Asset Management

Modern Wealth Management announced an asset purchase agreement to acquire Clearwater, Florida-based Flaharty Asset Management, a holistic wealth management firm overseeing about $1.1 billion in advisory and brokerage assets. The deal adds an 18-person team (including nine advisors) and expands Modern Wealth’s presence in the Greater Tampa Bay/Clearwater market as part of its broader Southeast footprint growth.
