Circle Internet Group to Acquire Tazapay

Circle Internet Group signed a definitive agreement to acquire Singapore-headquartered Tazapay in an all-stock transaction reported at approximately $400 million. The deal is expected to close in 2027, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals, including approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The acquisition adds Tazapay’s cross-border payments infrastructure, 60-plus banking and fintech partners, and payout rails across more than 100 markets to Circle’s platform.

Citi to Acquire Kard Financial (Agreed Acquisition)

Recharge Acquires Giftcloud from Groupon

The deal adds a profitable, scalable platform (serving clients such as Vodafone, Sky and TalkTalk) and follows Recharge's €45M acquisition facility with ABN AMRO to support international M&A.

CardWorks and Merrick Bank to Acquire Ally’s Credit Card Business

Ally Financial and CardWorks announced they have entered into a definitive agreement under which CardWorks (and its wholly-owned bank subsidiary, Merrick Bank) will acquire Ally’s credit card business. The transaction includes a $2.3 billion portfolio of credit card receivables and 1.3 million active cardholders, and is expected to close in 2025 subject to customary conditions.

Acorns Acquires GoHenry and Pixpay

(TSX: MOGO; NASDAQ: MOGO) agreed to acquire Carta Solutions Holding Corporation (doing business as Carta Worldwide) in an all‑stock plan of arrangement to expand into the global B2B digital payments market. The acquisition — reported at about C$24.2 million — gives Mogo a payments technology platform and broadens its addressable market into global digital payments.
