Motorola Acquires AirDefense

Motorola, Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire AirDefense, a privately held wireless LAN security provider. AirDefense will become a wholly owned subsidiary and be integrated into Motorola's enterprise mobility business, with Motorola planning to maintain AirDefense's Alpharetta, Georgia headquarters; terms were not disclosed.
