Founder and CEO Michael Byrd will join CBC as Senior Vice President of Sales; terms were not disclosed and advisors included Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Deloitte.

Credit Bureau Connection (CBC), a Capstreet-backed provider of credit report and compliance solutions, has acquired Dealer Safeguard Solutions (DSGSS), a McKinney, Texas-based SaaS provider of compliance and workflow solutions for the automotive retail industry. The deal (terms not disclosed) combines CBC and DSGSS to create a comprehensive workflow and compliance enforcement platform for auto dealers; DSGSS founder and CEO Doug Fusco and the full team will remain with the combined company.
