The CapStreet Group (CapStreet V, L.P.) completed a majority recapitalization of Credit Bureau Connection, Inc. (CBC) in partnership with founder Mike Green and other shareholders, with Stellus Capital Management providing unitranche financing and an equity co-investment. CBC (now rebranded as Informativ) provides cloud-based credit reporting, compliance and identity-verification software for auto dealers and consumer finance lenders across the United States; the transaction is intended to support growth acceleration and platform expansion.

Credit Bureau Connection (CBC), a Capstreet-backed provider of credit report and compliance solutions, has acquired Dealer Safeguard Solutions (DSGSS), a McKinney, Texas-based SaaS provider of compliance and workflow solutions for the automotive retail industry. The deal (terms not disclosed) combines CBC and DSGSS to create a comprehensive workflow and compliance enforcement platform for auto dealers; DSGSS founder and CEO Doug Fusco and the full team will remain with the combined company.

Solera Holdings, Inc. acquired eDriving, a provider of smartphone-based driver risk management and telematics solutions, to expand its fleet-focused data and software capabilities into driver behavior and risk analytics. The deal integrates eDriving's Mentor app, FICO Safe Driving Score and Virtual Risk Manager platform with Solera's existing fleet solutions to offer end-to-end vehicle and driver performance services to commercial fleets globally.

Solve Advisors Acquires Advantage Data and Best Credit Data

TRADER Corporation has agreed to acquire the Canadian operations of Dealertrack, VinSolutions, Dealer.com, Xtime and Kelley Blue Book from Cox Automotive's Canadian Retail business. The move brings Canadian-focused dealer software, digital retailing and valuation capabilities into TRADER to deliver more localized services for Canadian dealerships and OEMs; most Canadian Cox Automotive Retail employees are expected to transition to TRADER.
