AutoScout24 has signed an agreement to acquire TRADER Corporation (TRADER Canada) from Thoma Bravo, with funds affiliated with existing majority shareholder Hellman & Friedman making an incremental equity investment in AutoScout24. The acquisition expands AutoScout24's presence into Canada and adds TRADER's leading marketplaces (AutoTrader.ca, AutoHebdo.net), dealer software (AutoSync), lender portal (DealerTrack) and collateral management services to its product set.

TRADER Corporation Invests in Activix (Thoma Bravo Portfolio)

Activix, a Canadian CRM provider for automotive dealerships, received a strategic investment from TRADER Corporation, a portfolio company of private equity firm Thoma Bravo. The investment will accelerate Activix’s product development, expand its addressable market in Canada, and enable closer integration with TRADER’s digital automotive offerings to better serve dealer customers.

Vitu Acquires Dealertrack Registration and Titling Businesses from Cox Automotive

Vitu has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Dealertrack’s registration and titling businesses (RTS, RegUSA, Accelerated Title and CMS) from Cox Automotive. The transaction, backed by Accel-KKR, is a divestiture by Cox Automotive intended to consolidate titling and registration capabilities under Vitu; terms were not disclosed and the deal is subject to customary closing conditions.

Solera Acquires Omnitracs and DealerSocket

Snap-on Acquires Dealer-FX from HGGC

The deal brings Dealer-FX's One Platform and dealer-focused product suite into Snap-on's Total Shop Solutions portfolio to expand its software and service capabilities for dealerships and OEM customers.

J.D. Power Acquires Trilogy Automotive

Power has acquired Trilogy Automotive, the automotive software division of Trilogy Enterprises, and will integrate Trilogy's SaaS-based lead management platform into its Autodata Solutions division to expand OEM digital dealer capabilities.
