Covington Partners LLC has acquired Grand Traverse Plastics Corp., a Williamsburg, Michigan-based designer and manufacturer of engineered plastic assemblies serving automotive under-the-hood and material-handling markets. Angle Advisors served as exclusive advisor to Grand Traverse Plastics on the transaction, which positions Covington to invest in specialized injection-molding and value-added assembly capabilities for automotive and industrial end markets.

Plastivaloire Group Acquires TransNav Corporation

Plastivaloire Group has acquired TransNav Corporation, a vertically integrated manufacturer of engineered plastic components and assemblies based in New Baltimore, Michigan. The deal expands Plastivaloire's footprint into the United States and adds three manufacturing sites (Michigan, Kentucky and Puebla, Mexico), strengthening its automotive, retail and industrial product capabilities and taking proforma revenue to nearly €750 million.

NewCo Plastics (White Wolf) Acquires PM Mold Company

The acquisition expands NewCo's manufacturing capabilities and Midwest footprint; financial terms were not disclosed.

Nautic Partners Acquires Aurora Plastics

Nautic Partners has completed the acquisition of Aurora Plastics, a Streetsboro, Ohio-based producer of PVC and custom polymer compounds, in partnership with Aurora management. The seller parties were Wind Point Partners and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board; financing for the deal was led by Antares Capital and Carlyle Global Credit, and Nautic says it will support Aurora's growth and pursue acquisitions in the fragmented specialty compounds market.

Group of Private Investors Acquire Available Plastics

Available Plastics, Inc., a Huntsville, Alabama-based PVC extrusion and injection molding manufacturer, was sold by owner Suanne Yarborough to a group of private investors. FourBridges Capital Advisors served as exclusive advisor; CEO Keven Cook and Operations Manager Anthony Peavy will remain with the company. The company operates a 120,000 sq. ft. facility with 8 extrusion and 3 injection molding lines and has 46 full-time employees.

NewCo Plastics (White Wolf) Acquires Magenta and Affiliates with LO3 Capital Financing

LO3 Capital provided a senior subordinated debt and equity investment to support NewCo’s acquisition as part of White Wolf’s platform build strategy.
