Wolverine Capital Partners has acquired Vital Plastics, Inc., a Baldwin, Wisconsin-based injection molding manufacturer and assembly provider, in a transaction announced July 18, 2023. Vital Plastics will continue day-to-day operations under President & CFO Matthew Fish, and Wolverine Capital intends to support the company's next phase of growth and capabilities expansion.

Plastivaloire Group Acquires TransNav Corporation

Plastivaloire Group has acquired TransNav Corporation, a vertically integrated manufacturer of engineered plastic components and assemblies based in New Baltimore, Michigan. The deal expands Plastivaloire's footprint into the United States and adds three manufacturing sites (Michigan, Kentucky and Puebla, Mexico), strengthening its automotive, retail and industrial product capabilities and taking proforma revenue to nearly €750 million.

Nautic Partners Acquires Aurora Plastics

Nautic Partners has completed the acquisition of Aurora Plastics, a Streetsboro, Ohio-based producer of PVC and custom polymer compounds, in partnership with Aurora management. The seller parties were Wind Point Partners and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board; financing for the deal was led by Antares Capital and Carlyle Global Credit, and Nautic says it will support Aurora's growth and pursue acquisitions in the fragmented specialty compounds market.

Lear Corporation Acquires M&N Plastics

Lear Corporation acquired M&N Plastics, a Michigan-based injection molding specialist, to strengthen vertical integration and expand its capability to produce engineered plastic components for automotive electrical distribution and power electronics. M&N Plastics operates facilities in Sterling Heights, Michigan and El Paso, Texas and will support Lear's E-Systems connection systems business.

Coda Resources, Ltd. Acquires Design Plastics Inc.
