Apple Acquires Israeli Audio AI Startup Q.ai

Apple has acquired Q.ai, an Israeli audio-focused AI startup, in a deal reported to value the company at roughly $1.6 billion (estimates vary). Q.ai’s ~100 employees, including CEO Aviad Maizels and co‑founders, will join Apple as the company looks to integrate Q.ai’s audio and “silent speech” imaging/ML technology into its hardware and voice-enabled products.

IBM Acquires Seek AI

J.D. Power Acquires Superior Integrated Solutions (Darwin Automotive)

Studio Media Group acquired Darwin CX, a Toronto-based customer experience and subscription management platform, from ZoomerMedia and will integrate it with its Palm Coast Data unit to accelerate data-driven customer acquisition and retention capabilities. The deal brings Darwin CX's real-time analytics and AI-driven campaign tools into Studio Media's portfolio to provide publishers and membership organizations faster, more actionable marketing insights.
