S&P Global has acquired ProntoNLP, a generative AI and NLP tooling provider, and will integrate the company's models and LLM-based signal tools into S&P Global Market Intelligence. BGM Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: BGM) completed the acquisition of the intelligent platform of AIX Inc. and also acquired RONS (RONDS/RONS Intelligent Technology) and Shenzhen Xinbao Investment, marking BGM’s strategic expansion into AI-driven technology and financial/insurance services alongside its pharmaceutical operations. The deal positions BGM to integrate AI capabilities with its healthcare and insurance ambitions to offer more intelligent health and insurance solutions globally.

Coeptis Therapeutics Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: COEP) has completed the acquisition of the NexGenAI Affiliates Network platform from NexGenAI and launched a new division, Coeptis Technologies, to commercialize AI-driven marketing and RPA capabilities. The deal brings AI-powered marketing software and robotic process automation into Coeptis’ offerings to diversify the biopharma company’s growth avenues and support marketing and operations in highly regulated end markets such as biotech, pharma, and MLM.

Protege has acquired Calliope Networks to add hundreds of thousands of hours of premium TV, film, news and sports content to its AI training data platform. The deal expands Protege beyond healthcare into a new media vertical, with Calliope founders and key executives joining Protege to lead the new Protege Media offering.

Calabrio has acquired Echo AI, a generative AI-native conversation intelligence platform, to integrate real-time generative-AI conversation insights into its Calabrio ONE suite. The acquisition strengthens Calabrio's AI capabilities for contact centers—improving automated quality management, agent coaching, and CX intelligence across omnichannel interactions.

AI/ML Innovations Inc. entered into a binding share purchase agreement to acquire all issued and outstanding shares of Quantum Sciences Ltd for a purchase price of $690,000 to be paid by the issuance of 10,000,000 common shares. The acquisition (SPA dated December 9, 2024) brings digital health AI/ML and quantum‑inspired capability into AI/ML Innovations' portfolio and remains subject to customary closing conditions and CSE approval.

Hexion Inc. has acquired Smartech, an AI-focused autonomous manufacturing solutions provider. The deal — Hexion's first acquisition in a decade — brings Smartech's SmartWAX, SmartPF and patented SmartMDI technologies into Hexion's portfolio to drive production efficiency, cost savings and sustainability across wood processing and other manufacturing end-markets; terms were not disclosed.

Netherlands-based VANAD Group has acquired Utrecht/Zeist-based sports analytics firm SciSports. Traccom Inc. (TRCC) completed the acquisition of 100% of the capital stock of Vulcain, Inc., issuing 117,813,680 shares of Traccom common stock to Vulcain shareholders and making Vulcain a wholly owned operating subsidiary. The transaction gives Vulcain access to public markets (Pink Open Market) and capital to accelerate growth of its Causal AI and knowledge-management platform and expand into new end markets including insurance, healthcare and financial services.

Anysphere, the team behind AI-powered code editor Cursor, has acquired AI coding assistant Supermaven for an undisclosed sum. Supermaven's team and technology will be folded into Cursor to accelerate a new Tab AI model and deepen Cursor's developer-facing capabilities.

Bluecore has acquired alby, an AI shopping assistant that delivers conversational Q&A and product-specific guidance for ecommerce retailers. The acquisition will integrate alby's conversational and generative AI capabilities into Bluecore's retail marketing platform to boost engagement, conversions, and post-sale satisfaction.

FotoNation's founders and senior management have completed a management buyout of the company’s chip-level hardware, firmware and imaging business, returning control to longtime executives. The move reunites FotoNation's leadership to focus on next-generation edge AI imaging (chiplets, ultra-low-power inference) and to target markets including surveillance, IP cameras, drones and mobile devices; the assets were divested by Tobii following its earlier acquisition of Xperi’s imaging business.

FreeWill, a social-good enterprise focused on estate planning and charitable giving tools, has acquired Grant Assistant, an AI-based platform that streamlines grant proposal creation for nonprofits and international development organizations. The acquisition brings Grant Assistant's team in Washington, D.C. and Lahore into FreeWill and expands FreeWill's product capabilities to help customers pursue more grant funding.

n2 Group has acquired X-ISS, a specialist provider of managed High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI services, adding the company to its portfolio of technical-computing businesses. X-ISS will operate as a standalone business within the n2 Group, retaining its brand while leveraging group synergies to expand its ManagedHPC offering and capabilities for customers in scientific and enterprise AI environments.

ShiftPixy, a Miami-based staffing and workforce-management platform, has acquired TurboScale, an AI infrastructure company, in a $150 million transaction comprised of $75 million in stock and $75 million in debt. The purchase brings GPU-accelerated cloud and AI model deployment capabilities into ShiftPixy's platform to accelerate AI-driven workforce analytics and automation, with new products expected by early 2025.

DataSnipper has acquired AI-native document-request portal UpLink and simultaneously launched DocuMine, a new AI-powered document validator to expand its audit automation product suite. The move builds on DataSnipper’s recent $100 million Series B and accelerates the company’s effort to create a comprehensive AI-driven audit ecosystem.

Zillow Group acquired Virtual Staging AI (VSAI) — an AI-driven virtual staging startup co-founded in 2023 — with the deal closing on Oct. 7, 2024. Zillow will integrate VSAI's image-based virtual staging and editing technology into its product suite (including Zillow Showcase) to give agents and sellers faster, AI-powered listing media creation.

Gloo, the Boulder-based faith-technology platform, has acquired withSoul, an AI startup founded by Jake Klinvex and Alex Cook that builds AI-powered content ingestion, enrichment and personalization tools for Christian publishers and ministries. The deal brings withSoul’s AI capabilities into Gloo’s growing suite of faith-aligned AI products (including the AI Data Engine, Aspen AI and CALLM) to deepen personalization and publisher support across Gloo’s ecosystem.

Visa has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Featurespace, a Cambridge-based developer of real-time AI payments protection technology that detects and prevents fraud. The acquisition will enhance Visa's fraud detection and risk-scoring capabilities and is expected to close in fiscal year 2025 subject to regulatory approvals.

NVIDIA has acquired Seattle-based OctoAI, a startup that provides tooling and infrastructure to build and run generative AI models. The deal — reported at roughly $165 million before adjustments and with potential incentives that could push consideration higher — brings OctoAI's ML compiler and model-serving technology and team into NVIDIA to bolster its AI infrastructure offerings.

Project Management Institute (PMI) has acquired Cognilytica, an AI best-practices research, training and certification firm, and will integrate Cognilytica’s CPMAI certifications, learning products, and thought leadership into PMI’s education and PMI Infinity offerings. Cognilytica founders Ron Schmelzer and Kathleen Walch will join PMI as the organization expands its AI capability and training content for project professionals.

Workday, Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Evisort, an AI-native document intelligence and contract intelligence platform. The acquisition will integrate Evisort's AI-powered document intelligence into Workday's finance and HR suite to surface insights from unstructured documents and automate workflows across accounting, procurement, and HR.

The Hackett Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: HCKT) has acquired LeewayHertz, a provider of generative AI development and orchestration solutions, and will integrate LeewayHertz's ZBrain platform with Hackett's AI XPLR platform. The companies are also creating a joint venture, ZBrain XPLR, with Akash Takyar named CEO of the joint venture and leader of Hackett's Gen AI Implementation group to accelerate end-to-end AI ideation through implementation capabilities.

Generative AI startup Typeface has acquired Treat, a NYC-based AI company that creates personalized product images, and Narrato, an AI content-creation and workflow platform originally launched in Australia. The acquisitions are intended to expand Typeface’s multimodal (visual and textual) capabilities and accelerate its vision of end-to-end content lifecycle transformation for enterprise customers.

CGI Federal Inc., the U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI Inc., has completed the acquisition of Aeyon, a digital transformation and AI provider to U.S. federal agencies. The deal, which involves Aeyon (backed by Enlightenment Capital), expands CGI’s data, analytics and intelligent automation capabilities and strengthens its relationships with national security and civilian agencies such as the DoD, FAA and NASA.

Scutum North America, part of the Scutum Group, has integrated Visentry — an AI-powered remote guarding and video monitoring company based in Englewood, New Jersey — into its U.S. business to expand its technology-enabled security offering. The deal adds Visentry’s AI surveillance and remote response capabilities to Scutum’s 360° security and fire protection portfolio as an add-on to the group’s North America platform.

Spectral Capital Corporation (FCCN) has acquired Quantomo OÜ, a developer of quantum tomography and quantum-enhanced search algorithms, to accelerate its Quantum Bridge initiative and decentralized QaaS offerings. The deal (reported at approximately $7.9 million) brings Quantomo's quantum search technology into Spectral's stack to expand capabilities across search, healthcare, finance and energy verticals.

Rappi has acquired the intellectual property and team assets of Fountain9, an India-origin AI-driven inventory planning and supply chain optimization startup. The asset acquisition brings Fountain9's technology and people into a newly formed Rappi entity in India to strengthen Rappi TURBO operations and to offer the supply-chain solution as a B2B product while establishing a talent footprint in India.

DatChat, Inc. entered into an asset purchase agreement to acquire the source code and full rights to an AI-driven media library organization tool to be integrated into its Myseum digital legacy platform. The acquisition (agreement dated August 27, 2024) was paid via 8,000,000 restricted shares of Dragon Interact, Inc., a majority-owned subsidiary of DatChat, and is intended to enhance media tagging, renaming and organization capabilities ahead of Myseum's Fall 2024 release.

Reuben Brothers has made a strategic growth investment in Edgelord LLC (EDGLRD), with participation from founding investor Samizdat LLC. Armada Acquisition Corp. I closed its previously announced business combination with Rezolve AI Limited, and the combined company will trade on Nasdaq under the ticker symbols RZLV (common shares) and RZLVW (warrants). Rezolve, a London‑headquartered provider of a SaaS generative AI commerce engagement platform for retailers and brands, will remain led by its existing management team and plans to use the public listing to expand its global market presence.

Xcite Automotive has acquired Double4 AI to integrate advanced computer-vision and image-processing AI into its Frontline inventory platform. The deal adds patented technology and an India development office (adding more than 70 developers), enabling Xcite to launch new AI-powered imaging, video and automated QA products for automotive dealers and OEM partners.

SoundHound AI has acquired enterprise conversational AI provider Amelia for $80 million in cash and equity, including assumption of debt and potential earnouts. The deal expands SoundHound's conversational and customer-service AI capabilities and accelerates vertical expansion into regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, retail), with combined revenue expected to exceed $150M in 2025.

East11 Ventures, the private equity arm of Austin-based East11 Ventures, has acquired Kronologic, an Austin-headquartered provider of AI-driven schedule orchestration for B2B sales teams. The acquisition will keep Kronologic headquartered in Austin and aims to accelerate product development and company growth through East11’s capital and operational support.

SupportLogic has acquired xFind, a Tel Aviv-based developer of precision-guided Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) knowledge technology. The acquisition integrates xFind’s AI into SupportLogic’s Support Experience (SX) management platform to deliver faster, more accurate technical answers and improve post-sales support efficiency and self-service deflection.

Reddit has acquired Memorable AI, a creative-testing and AI-driven ad-optimization startup, and has brought on the company’s employees and leadership. The acquisition will integrate Memorable AI’s creative intelligence into Reddit’s ad products to optimize and generate ad creative across formats; terms were not disclosed.

ThetaRay has acquired European AI-driven screening specialist Screena to integrate next-generation name screening and entity resolution into its cloud-based financial crime detection platform. The deal expands ThetaRay's capabilities across transaction monitoring, screening, and customer risk assessment, strengthening its offering to banks, fintechs and regulators.

Trio Mobil secured $26.5 million in growth financing led by NewSpring (via its NewSpring Growth strategy) with participation from existing investors 212 and TIBAS Ventures. The capital will be used to scale Trio Mobil’s AI- and IoT-based workplace safety and efficiency platform, accelerate U.S. and international expansion, and support product and device deployment.

Canva has acquired Sydney-based generative AI startup Leonardo.ai in a cash-and-stock deal, with all ~120 Leonardo.ai employees joining Canva. The acquisition will keep Leonardo.ai operating independently while integrating its technology into Canva’s Magic Studio to expand API offerings, model R&D and accelerate generative AI product development.

ServiceNow has acquired Germany-based Raytion to strengthen GenAI-powered search and knowledge management on the Now Platform. The acquisition, completed in July 2024 for an undisclosed amount, brings Raytion's information retrieval technology and team (led by founder Valentin Richter) into ServiceNow to provide unified, enterprise-wide AI search and knowledge capabilities.

Lucid Bots has acquired Avianna, a startup that provides natural-language and autonomy AI (Mission AI, Vision AI, Fleet Management) for robots. The integration will add conversational controls and autonomous operations to Lucid Bots' cleaning robots (Sherpa, Lavo Bot), improving usability, fleet management, and deployment efficiency.

Applied Systems has acquired Planck, an AI-based data platform for commercial insurance, to accelerate and expand AI capabilities across Applied's global insurance software portfolio. The acquisition aims to integrate Planck's real-time data and AI-driven underwriting insights into Applied's products to improve underwriting, renewals, servicing and advisory workflows for carriers and agencies.

HH Global has completed the acquisition of Northell Partners Ltd to strengthen its marketing activation capabilities by integrating Northell's AI and machine-learning solutions.
