Gloo (Nasdaq: GLOO), a technology platform serving the faith and flourishing ecosystem, has acquired XRI Global, an AI company specializing in multilingual and voice AI solutions. The acquisition embeds XRI's multilingual and low-resource language capabilities into Gloo's AI offerings to expand capability and unlock new international markets.

Rapport, the AI-powered avatar division of Speech Graphics, has acquired Aquifer Motion, an AI animation platform used by major entertainment brands. Aquifer Motion's team will join Rapport (remaining based in Austin, Texas) and CEO Chen Zhang will become Rapport's Chief Growth Officer as the companies integrate full-body animation and cinematic scene direction into Rapport's real-time avatar platform.

Culmen International has acquired Madison Springfield, Inc., an AI/ML‑enabled predictive analytics firm and developer of the MOSAICS platform. The acquisition expands Culmen’s real‑time geopolitical analysis and predictive capabilities to better support U.S. government and international partners.

Voiant has acquired Voxeleron, an AI-driven ophthalmic image analysis company, to integrate advanced AI/ML imaging capabilities into its clinical trial imaging platform. The deal combines Voiant’s clinical trial imaging expertise with Voxeleron’s cloud-based image analysis tools to accelerate biomarker development, improve data accuracy, and enhance ophthalmology-focused clinical research services.

OpenTeams has acquired Quansight's Consulting Division, including its core engineering team, to accelerate development and delivery of open source AI systems for enterprises and government agencies. Quansight will transition to a Public Benefit Corporation (Quansight PBC) to focus on sustaining open source communities, while key Quansight leaders (including former CTO Dharhas Pothina) move to OpenTeams to support product and technical growth.

Tabhi Inc. acquired substantially all assets of Mondee Holdings, Inc. as part of Mondee's Chapter 11 restructuring, with new equity and credit support from affiliates of TCW Asset Management, Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Wingspire Capital. The transaction reduced Mondee's debt, strengthened liquidity, and resulted in Prasad Gundumogula taking a majority equity stake while Tabhi named Kumar R. Parakala CEO of North America to accelerate AI-powered travel offerings.

NewTide Development, Inc. has acquired innovation lab Talentr Solutions and is launching NewTide as an enterprise agentic AI company focused on the fuels and convenience retail industry. Vlad Collak (former Talentr founder/CEO) will assume the CEO role at NewTide as the company commercializes AI agents and related services for supply, trading, logistics, procurement, accounting, merchandising and retail operations.

n2 Group has acquired X-ISS, a specialist provider of managed High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI services, adding the company to its portfolio of technical-computing businesses. X-ISS will operate as a standalone business within the n2 Group, retaining its brand while leveraging group synergies to expand its ManagedHPC offering and capabilities for customers in scientific and enterprise AI environments.

East11 Ventures, the private equity arm of Austin-based East11 Ventures, has acquired Kronologic, an Austin-headquartered provider of AI-driven schedule orchestration for B2B sales teams. The acquisition will keep Kronologic headquartered in Austin and aims to accelerate product development and company growth through East11’s capital and operational support.

Computer Modelling Group Ltd. (CMG) acquired Bluware-Headwave Ventures Inc., a cloud-native AI and deep-learning software and services provider for subsurface decision-making, from majority owner EV Private Equity. CMG paid US$22 million with an additional earn-out of up to US$8 million; Bluware reported approximately US$23.5 million revenue in its most recent fiscal year and provides the InteractivAI product and proprietary VDS data format for seismic data.

Elixirr has acquired Responsum, a generative AI and large-language-model acceleration platform founded in Austin, Texas, to strengthen its AI and digital capabilities. The acquisition brings Responsum's technical expertise and platform into Elixirr's consulting offering to accelerate client deployments of generative AI across sales, support and executive analytics use cases.

Dallas-based private equity firm Trive Capital has acquired AI defense platform company Hypergiant Industries to complement its portfolio company Forward Slope. Hypergiant CEO Mike Betzer will remain in place as the company scales its cloud-based CommandCenter geospatial data visualization and AI-enabled C5ISR offerings; terms were not disclosed.

Digital Wave Technology, an AI-powered omnichannel platform provider based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, has acquired GoalProfit, a retail AI and optimization SaaS company with operations in Austin, Texas and Helsinki, Finland. The acquisition brings GoalProfit's data science and low-code analytical architecture capabilities into Digital Wave to accelerate development of its omnichannel AI solutions for retailers and brands.

Tecnotree Corporation (Espoo, Finland) has agreed to acquire CognitiveScale, an Austin-based AI engineering platform provider, to expand Tecnotree's AI/ML capabilities and accelerate 5G use-case monetization in North America. The deal is expected to contribute roughly EUR 5 million of ARR in 2023 and is subject to customary conditions, with closing expected in 2022.

Thomson Reuters has acquired Houston-based AI document analytics company ThoughtTrace from Altira Group. The acquisition brings ThoughtTrace's AI/ML-powered contract and document intelligence capabilities into Thomson Reuters' product portfolio; financial terms were not disclosed.

Advent International agreed to acquire a significant stake in Iodine Software in a strategic growth investment that values the company at over $1 billion. The capital will support Iodine's expansion of its AI-powered clinical documentation and revenue-cycle products (CognitiveML) and help scale its go-to-market reach across hospitals and health systems.

Source Capital, via its credit fund (Source Capital Credit Opportunities IV, LP) and its SBIC fund, has made an investment in Nexus Cognitive Solutions by providing debt financing to support Nexus’s acquisition of a cloud solutions and software development services provider. Nexus Cognitive Solutions, a service-disabled veteran-owned AI, data analytics and software-development firm headquartered in Addison, Texas, will use the financing to deepen its cloud, systems-integration and software development capabilities and accelerate growth in the public sector and enterprise markets.

Zebra Technologies has acquired antuit.ai, an AI-powered SaaS provider of demand forecasting and merchandising solutions for the retail and CPG industries. The acquisition (previously owned by a consortium led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management) expands Zebra's retail software portfolio by adding advanced AI forecasting capabilities to better connect planning and execution across customers' supply chains and store operations.

SparkCognition has entered into an agreement to acquire AIM2, a financial-technology company focused on AI-driven market-making and quantitative trading products, from Brevan Howard and Nomura. The deal brings AIM2 products (including ORCA/AI Trader, Alpha Cycles, and Alpha Waves) and its team into SparkCognition to expand the company's AI capabilities and offerings for the financial services vertical.

Navigate360 has acquired Social Sentinel, an AI- and linguistics-based software platform that scans digital conversations to identify potential safety threats and mental-health signals. The purchase integrates Social Sentinel’s threat-detection capabilities into Navigate360’s tip-reporting, behavioral threat assessment and safety training offerings to expand its proactive prevention tools for schools and businesses.

Planview has acquired Aptage, an AI/ML specialist focused on applying machine learning to portfolio and work management to provide early insights into project value and delivery risk. The acquisition embeds Aptage's AI/ML IP across the Planview product portfolio and brings Aptage co-founders John Heintz and Dr. Murray Cantor into Planview to lead AI/product and data science roles.

KKR has made a minority equity investment in o9 Solutions, valuing the AI-powered integrated business planning platform at over $1 billion. The funding (from KKR Next Generation Technology Growth Fund II) is o9's first external capital raise and will be used to accelerate go-to-market initiatives, global expansion and continued product development.
