Anthropic has acquired Seattle-based startup Vercept and will integrate Vercept’s team and technology into its Claude product to improve autonomous computer-use and multi-step task performance. Vercept will wind down its external product as its employees join Anthropic to help expand Claude’s ability to operate inside live applications and handle complex workflows.

Phenom has acquired Included, an AI-native people analytics platform, to integrate agentic workforce analytics and actionable insights into Phenom's applied AI HR platform. The deal expands Phenom's workforce intelligence capabilities by standardizing disparate HR data, adding conversational AI-driven analytics and actionable recommendations for HR teams and business leaders.

SuperDial, a San Francisco–based voice AI company that automates outbound calls for healthcare revenue cycle management, has acquired MajorBoost, an AI2 Incubator spinout focused on automating hold navigation and IVR interactions with health insurers. The deal augments SuperDial's IVR, hold-navigation and call-automation capabilities to better serve billing companies and provider organizations handling benefits verification, prior authorization, claim follow-up and credentialing.

Traccom Inc. (TRCC) completed the acquisition of 100% of the capital stock of Vulcain, Inc., issuing 117,813,680 shares of Traccom common stock to Vulcain shareholders and making Vulcain a wholly owned operating subsidiary. The transaction gives Vulcain access to public markets (Pink Open Market) and capital to accelerate growth of its Causal AI and knowledge-management platform and expand into new end markets including insurance, healthcare and financial services.

NVIDIA has acquired Seattle-based OctoAI, a startup that provides tooling and infrastructure to build and run generative AI models. The deal — reported at roughly $165 million before adjustments and with potential incentives that could push consideration higher — brings OctoAI's ML compiler and model-serving technology and team into NVIDIA to bolster its AI infrastructure offerings.

BYTE Acquisition Corp. completed a business combination with Airship AI, and the combined company began trading on Nasdaq under ticker AISP on December 22, 2023. The transaction valued Airship AI at a pre-money equity value of approximately $225 million and positions the company to accelerate growth—backed by a visible pipeline including $10.9 million in DHS contracts.

Volaris Group (an operating group of Constellation Software Inc.) has acquired RAF Technology, a developer of AI-driven pattern recognition and data-capture software used by postal, courier and logistics companies. RAF will continue to operate independently under General Manager David Reeves and will leverage Volaris' operating approach and community to expand its product and customer footprint globally.

Fractal has acquired Neal Analytics, a Microsoft Gold consulting partner, to strengthen its AI engineering and cloud-first offerings across Microsoft's multi-cloud ecosystem. The deal brings Neal Analytics' 200+ employees and expertise on Azure into Fractal, expanding Fractal's presence in the Pacific Northwest, Canada, and India and enhancing its ability to scale AI for Fortune 500 clients.

DataRobot announced the acquisition of MLOps platform Algorithmia on July 27, 2021, alongside a $300M Series G funding round. The acquisition is intended to deepen DataRobot's MLOps and model-serving capabilities so customers can deploy, manage, and scale ML models (including GPU workloads) in production more effectively.

Nuance Communications acquired Saykara, a Seattle-based startup that developed a mobile AI assistant for automating clinical documentation. The deal adds Saykara’s conversational AI technology and engineering talent to Nuance’s ambient clinical intelligence portfolio to accelerate product innovation and reduce clinician documentation burden.

OnSolve, a provider of mass notification and critical event management solutions, acquired Stabilitas, an AI-driven situational awareness and threat intelligence platform. The acquisition integrates Stabilitas' real-time AI-based event detection and risk analysis with OnSolve's critical communications and incident management capabilities to deliver end-to-end critical event management for enterprise and government customers.

Freshworks Inc. acquired AnsweriQ Inc., an AI/ML company that provides automated self-service and intelligent process automation for customer service, to augment Freshworks' Freddy AI and scale enterprise customer self-service capabilities. The acquisition expands Freshworks' enterprise AI capabilities and adds talent and a Seattle presence to its product and customer success teams.

Verint Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: VRNT) has acquired all outstanding equity interests in Next IT Corporation and its affiliate Next IT Innovation Labs, LLC for roughly $30 million in cash at closing, plus potential future cash payments. The acquisition adds conversational AI and intelligent virtual assistant capabilities to Verint's cloud self-service and automation portfolio to accelerate its AI-driven customer engagement solutions.
